we headed over to aunt barbie & uncle mike’s house for labor day swimming & dinner. unfortunately I didn’t get any pics of the fun we had but everything came to a quick stand still when e was playing by the flowers and stirred up a wasp nest. uncle mike was beyond quick and probably saved him from multiple stings but he still got one on his pointer finger 
sweet boy screamed while we tried everything to make the pain ease off. daddy headed to the store to get some benadryl and ibuprofen and we turned on disney jr to distract him while he was curled up in my arms. that seemed to help and by the time brian got back with the medicine, his finger was swollen and red and he was nearly asleep. we gave him medicine, put him in his jammies, and then he curled up in my lap where he quickly fell asleep. poor little guy!! it was awful watching him in so much pain knowing that nothing we were doing was helping. definitely one of those parenting moments you dread but the good news is that he doesn’t seem to be allergic and his finger was already looking better by the time we got home…
