between school and swimming, it’s been hard for us to find a day to head to the zoo. we finally had a free day and it was gorgeous outside so we packed up and headed out!

he crawled behind this and yelled “take my picture mommy!” at the top of his lungs

so of course sister had to follow…

daddy played single dad this weekend while I was at a retreat with mum so he headed to the park saturday with the munchkins like cool daddy’s do  

minus a busted lip and some apparent judgment from the mom’s at the playground, they had a great time. cc met them up there after a little bit as well so that made it even better!!

ways to stay warm.

apparently a couch provides warmth…who knew?!?! when I asked him why his legs were under the couch, he told me “because my legs are cold mommy” in a “duh mom!” tone…awesome!

vanpa didn’t realize that when evan asked him to fix his train track, he really was looking for a horsey ride

this is where our 4 legged babies are while we workout every morning. still not sure how I haven’t curled up with them and gone back to sleep…

avery’s first swimming lesson.

poor little girl had to wait a bit longer than her brother to start swim lesson because of ear infections so she beyond excited to start swim lessons today!! we’d been talking about it for over a month and she would get a huge smile on her face each time it was mentioned!

today was her big day and she did great! I was a little worried about her having to sit on the step by herself but she did a lot better than I thought…except for the part where she fell off the step leaning after a toy that had floated away. poor thing was scared to death but after a little comforting by ms. toni, she continued on as if nothing had happened.
