this christmas was a little different but still very fun! cc, aunt ashley, and mike were in italy and uncle james is deployed. instead of the normal small, family christmas followed by a big family christmas dinner, nanny and vanpa spent the night and we had a fairly chill day. the kids never got out of their christmas jammies {and we barely did:)}. of course, our morning started with the fun pressies santa brought…

it took some convincing for evan to actually press the gas pedal himself…
sister even took a turn driving… 
but once he did, they were off! 
steering is a whole other issue though… 
little bits needed a little power nap…

i’m looking a little rough…a baby with a double ear infection at christmas does not lend itself to a whole lot of sleep :) 
we had such a fun christmas and were beyond blessed!! here’s hoping that we have all of our family back in town next christmas – we definitely missed everyone who wasn’t here!!
