we woke up and headed up to katyland to spend the day with nanny & vanpa. after a yummy lunch of roadhouse, the kiddos took a nap while mum and i ran a couple of errands. when they got up, we got dressed and headed to the young children’s christmas eve service at st. peters. the children’s choirs did their christmas musical and it was way cute! unfortunately, it was also raining before and after so we got a little wet!
we took a few pics at my parent’s house before we headed down to league city for sugarcookie making {don’t forget, it was raining so might look a little soaked:)}…
we watched polar express while we made the drive from katy to league city and once here, we fed the troops and brian & evan make sugar cookies from scratch. what a fun christmas eve tradition {and they are super yummy to snack on!}! evan had a blast decorating the cookies with sprinkles – i hope santa likes his cookies extra sprinkly!!:) evan started getting really tired before the last batch was baked but seemed to have a blast while he lasted!!
after a quick bath {aj crashed and burned on us:)}, it was time to read “the night before christmas”…
we then put out milk & cookies for santa…
and went to bed!!
