we had a fairly low-key first birthday for miss thing! i am off for Christmas so we spent the day hanging out. that being said, we did get out a bit :) we got up and go around and then we met up with some of the bible study girls for lunch (and daddy came along:)). then it was back home for nap, some playtime, and a couple of present from mummy & daddy.
she apparently needed a little help opening her presents :)
we then loaded up the kiddos and headed to the christmas train in alvin with stacia and the girls. it was really fun and just the right length for our kiddos attention span! can’t wait to go back again next year!

overall we had a busy but fun first birthday day for miss avery jo! we love her so much and can’t believe she is already one! we can’t wait to see what the next year brings!!
