one month {on january 20}.

so i’m a little late :) 

height: 20.25 inches
weight: 10 lbs 6 oz

• avery is wearing a size 1 diaper and may be moving up to a 2 sooner rather than later. 
• she is wearing some newborn clothes but those are getting quite snug.  for the most part she is in 0-3 months. 
• she has been congested so she hasn’t really been nursing much.  she will usually take around 3 or 4 ounces at a time although polishing off 5 ounces isn’t abnormal :)
• at night, she usually wakes up once sometime between 130 and 330 and then again between 530 and 730.  if she wakes up at 530, it’s usually for a quick top off and then she’s back to sleep until 730 or 8.  it really does vary so it’s hard to pinpoint her “schedule” right now.
• she is starting to smile back at us which melts our heart.
• avery is starting to have more awake time during the day but that also varies day to day.  one day she will be awake all morning.  the next it will be all afternoon.  the next she sleeps all day.  guess she’s still trying to figure it all out :)

she is a great baby and we are loving having her around.  evan is still doing really well with her.  he likes to talk about his baby and his “sista” and gets worried if she’s not with us.  he is all boy though and loves to wrestle which can get a little nerve wracking when she is playing on her mat on the floor :)
