last weekend, we flew up to little rock for the weekend to visit my family and introduce them to miss avery. we had a great visit although avery developed a little bit {or a lot} of a fussy time at night that seemed to be caused by constipation/gas. no fun!! we have picked up some anti-colic bottles and that seems to have helped – thank goodness!! we flew out with mum on friday afternoon and got to little rock around 6ish. dad was already there since he decided to book the flight before ours ;) ben, pam, and jackson brought pizza to the hotel for dinner which was amazing! grannie annie, papa keith, and sonya were already there so we hung out all night chatting and playing with the munchkins.
saturday, we got up and had breakfast and then slowly got around. after evan’s nap, we headed over to the walls’ casa to visit with melinda, aunt helen, connor, and caroline {carroll was reffing soccer all weekend so we missed him:(}. lindsey also drove in from fayetteville so we got to visit with her as well!!
after leaving the walls house, we headed back to the hotel where we decided we needed a little ice cream fix. i was pumped when i put ice cream into my phone to find nearby places and shakes came up!!!! done and done!!! still sad both of ours closed down in league city :(
sunday morning, we got around and headed to the airport. connor had gotten sick with a stomach virus the night before so we didn’t go back over to the walls house. evan & pa keith were big buddies and he will still ask for him when we are driving around or hanging out at the house. guess pa keith needs to make a trip down here to hang out with his little partner in crime:)
i guess the weekend was a little much for the little guy…
