nanny took the day off to spend with the munchkins and mentioned she might want to go to the beach. a friend had told us that there was a sandy beach on the end of the texas city dike so we thought we’d go check it out. I had never been out there before and it was actually pretty fun!! the kiddos had a ball playing in the sand and water and there weren’t any waves to knock them over. plus, there is a boat launch right next to the beach so it would be a fun place to take the waverunner out and still play at the beach! we’ll have to try it out next year!
after some play time, we headed to chick-fil-a for lunch and then home for a little well-needed nap time! thanks for coming down and spending the day with us nanny
