this weekend, we headed to san antonio for deedee & dave’s wedding. we decided to head out first thing friday morning and take our time getting there. the kids did great and even got to experience mcdonalds for the first time {e had technically had it once before in england but we won’t count that

that afternoon, we headed out to the alamo and the riverwalk. after a quick trip through the alamo, we tried to get e to take a pic in front of the alamo. not so successful!
neither kiddo had had a nap so while walking, our kiddos passed out and took their naps in the stroller. made for a peaceful stroll for mommy & daddy
that evening, we headed out for dinner on the riverwalk. when we asked e what he wanted for dinner, he told us a pb&j and wouldn’t waver. after walking up and down trying to find pb&j, we were out of luck. we convinced him that bread was ok so we ended up at lonestar café where he had bread and may have had some hot dog along with it

after some play time at the mall, we headed back and got the kiddos in bed – WAY past their bedtime
saturday, we took it easy in the morning playing in the hotel. we headed to the wedding around 115ish and I managed to get aj to take a nap right before the ceremony started!! super excited since it was a full catholic ceremony and there was no way she was going to sit still that entire time! e did a great job {with the help of the ipad

then we headed to the reception at the pearl stables. can you say gorgeous?!?!? we had a blast!! e was pretty tired but still danced a little while his baby sister was the first one on the dance floor and danced just as long as she could until she completely passed out! poor baby held her arms up, I picked her up, and she was out – loud music and all!

sunday we got up and headed home and once again, took our time – the key to travelling with little ones!
