houston, we have a shuttle–sort of.

today, our shuttle made its way under the kemah bridge, into clear lake, and docked right next to jsc. we met up with the grandparents and took the munchkins to see it. while it’s a complete crock that we don’t have a real shuttle here, it’s not every day you see a shuttle making it’s way across your local lake. we will also have the opportunity to look around the inside of the shuttle whereas the people with the real shuttles have to admire from the outside at a distance.

apparently the whole nasa thing is lost on evan {or he’s been around it his whole life and is no longer impressed by it} but his favorite part was riding the train aka. tram to and from the docked area. go figure!!

it was ridiculously hot so we didn’t stay too long but it was fun to see!
