we met the williams’ at the league city fire training grounds (i’m sure it has a proper name but i don’t have a clue what it is:)) to watch firefighters (including mr. troy) from the area participate in a stair climb in honor of the victims of 9-11. unfortunately, by the time we got there (getting around in the morning takes a bit longer with 2), the stair climb was over. we were able to take some pictures of the firetrucks and firefighters and evan and jaxon had fun playing around together.
the rest of the day, we spent together as a family. we have been so busy lately, it was nice to just be at home relaxing (and enjoying a little football :)).
after naptime, we took the kids for their first sno cone. i’m not sure that evan loved it but it was definitely refreshing on such a warm day!!
