saturday morning, we got up, packed, and loaded up to head to nanny & vanpa’s house for the weekend. it’s fun trying to fit 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 four legged kids plus all of our stuff into the car :) we definitely felt the love!
that night, we headed to the wedding of a friend from church. this was the first time we had taken both kiddos to a wedding together and we weren’t sure how they would do. i’m happy to report that aside from avery trying to sing and evan going cookie monster style on his goldfish, they were very well behaved!
once at the reception, my children were golden – mainly because there was food and we all know my kids love everything food related but also because they could be as loud as they wanted and it didn’t matter!
unfortunately we had to leave before too much dancing was underway…

sunday, after church, cindy came and picked brian and i up and we headed to college station for the first aggie football game of the season while nanny & vanpa babysat our 4 kiddos :) the aggies won quite handedly which was a nice start to the season while i think the kiddos had a great time playing!!
monday, we were super lazy {since brian and i didn’t get back to katy until LATE}. we skyped and facetimed with uncle james while he was in port in malaysia. e was able to put on quite the performance! he gave “unc james” fist bumps, high fives, and kisses through the computer screen. he also thought he needed to put mummy in time out for not listening. bossy much?? think he’s heard this a few times?? {please ignore the jammies/diaper – told you we were lazy!}
we headed home after nap yesterday and the kiddos slept until 730 this morning!! guess they were tired :) thanks for the fun weekend!!
