week 3.

i am failing miserably at taking pics of our munchkins lately!!  i try to keep the camera handy but a certain 19 month old seems to think mummy’s expensive camera is a toy :) 

this last week has brought more time at home playing.  i love and hate these days all at once.  i like to go and be lazy at the same time – makes sense right??  so basically, i love being home but also would love to be able to take both of my kiddos out and do something too.  unfortunately, the weather has been a little off for that so we end up staying home.  hopefully the weather will get a little more mild and we can head to the zoo or something else fun!

avery is still taking the bottle for the most part.  occasionally, i will nurse her when brian is home just so we have some bonding time.  she’s doing a little better but it’s still a little challenging with mr e running around :)

at night, avery is usually taking her last bottle around 930ish and then is up around 1ish, 4 or 5ish, and then 7 or 8ish.  during the day, she eats she eats when she gets up, has a little more about an hour later, then about 11ish, 1 or 2ish, 4 or 5ish, and then about every hour until she goes to bed.  i’m still giving her milk when she wants but soon will try to get her on more of a schedule so that she’s taking a whole bottle at each feeding.

evan is still doing great.  he loves to give kisses to his sister spontaneously – so sweet!!  he tried to give her kisses once when i wasn’t standing right there and he must have leaned on her a little because she started to cry.  poor kid was so scared and sat next to her with his bottom lip quivering because he thought he has hurt her.  once i convinced him that she was ok, he gave her a kiss and was on his way but it’s so sweet to see how much he already loves her.  he understands way more than we thought he would and we can’t wait for them to grow up together!!!

avery is giving us little smiles here and there and they are precious!! it is very possibly gas but i’ll keep telling myself it wasn’t :)

we cheered on the aggies in the cotton bowl but unfortunately, time ran out on them.  at least we had a fairly successful season and we can’t wait to see how they do next year.  avery wore the aTm onesie we bought for evan right after we found out he was a boy.  just add a bow and instant girl outfit :)  i was such a tomboy so i’m all about using boy clothes and “girlying” them up!!
