not a very exciting “bacation” day other than…
when we were packing up to leave san francisco, I came upstairs to find brian frantically scrubbing at the dryer. there were also a few piles of all of the clothes our family had worn so far – with green, yellow, & orange crayon melted into them! I wanted to scream! luckily, brian {with help from dad & cindy} was able to clean up the dryer {and save us from buying a new one} but the clothes were AWFUL!! and we’re talking all of our favorite clothes that had been worn…bad, bad, bad! I will work on trying to get the stains out once we get back home but sooooo frustrating!!!
**UPDATE: la’s totally awesome cleaner {only sold at dollar type stores} has done an amazing job on getting the crayon out!! it hasn’t fixed everything but has gotten over half of the clothes clean!!! love it!

a little picnic on the not so scenic drive…
the kiddos did great and once we arrived at our disneyland house, they had a ball with all of the toys there to play with. the sprinklers came on when they were outside playing and miss aj decided to jump in
before we left on the trip, I showed the kiddos pics of the house we would be staying in {loving vrbo.com!!}. they saw one of the sets of bunk beds and e immediately called sleeping up top and avery called sleeping on the “bobbom”. considering aj had never slept unconfined before this trip, I just kind of smiled and moved on. apparently, they both remembered. when we went in what was to be their room, e immediately put his stuff on the top bunk and aj put hers on the “bobbom”. we were planning on her sleeping in the room with us but she was determined to sleep on the bottom bunk. we rigged a bumper so she wouldn’t fall out of bed {out of pool towels rolled up and put under the fitted sheet
can’t wait for disneyland tomorrow!!!!
