memorial day.

we spent all day at cc’s house swimming. talk about some tired little munchkins!!! avery managed to sneak in an hour and half nap but e man went all day with only a 20 minute cars movie watching break!!

we started out the morning swimming with juliet, grayson, and jaxon {there may have been some gi joe playing going on too:)}. unfortunately, i didn’t get the camera out all day. i guess i was too busy chasing after my little hurricane aka. avery:)

that afternoon, barbie, mike, ashley, mike, and mike’s parents, jenny & jim, came over and we spent the afternoon swimming, bounce housing, and eating dinner with them. we had such a great time!! thank you to everyone for loving on our kiddos!! i just wish i had managed to get at least one picture – ugh!!

we headed to my parents’ house on sunday after church for a little swimming time in the backyard. unfortunately, my parents don’t have a pool at their house but they more than made up for that! the kiddos loved that they could get in and splash around all by themselves:) we are very into independence these days! we got a hold of aunt ali and she, jason, ben, & riley came over to play and eat dinner too! we had a blast hanging out with them :)

putt putt.

the williams family invited us to go to the putt putt in galveston with them. the kiddos had never been and while we figured avery would be less than impressed, we were curious what e would think. at first. he was a little apprehensive but he soon caught on {i’m sure it helped that the big kids were having fun and he wanted to do what they were. sister couldn’t have cared less though:)}. miss aj had fun playing in the sand traps while brother caught on to how to grip the club after showing him once. not too bad!! thanks williams family for the invite!
