this past weekend was a rough one for our family. my cousin/aunt melinda passed away last wednesday after battling a fast moving degenerative disease. her funeral was saturday in little rock so we made the journey to be with our family.
melinda was an amazing woman who was called to Heaven too soon for us. she served as a family lawyer before being elected to office as a family court judge in little rock. melinda was also an amazing mom to connor and caroline and they will serve as her legacy here. while we miss her incredibly, we are so thankful she is no longer suffering! i am also so glad that melinda got to meet avery in january when we made the trip to little rock to see her.
melinda, you are such an amazing person and we will miss you here but we know that Heaven has just gained a special angel! we love you & miss you terribly!
