last thursday, we took avery to her pediatrician's office for the first visit {our pedi doesn't make visits to the hospital i delivered at since it's in the medical center and his office is in clear lake}. at that visit, she weighed 6lb 6oz - she had lost 8oz since birth.
yesterday, i took avery in for a one week check-up and so she could get the newborn screening required by the state. little miss now weighs 7lb 4oz!!!! apparently she is trying to play catch up with her big brother who came into this world at 9.5 lbs :) silly girl!!
she is doing so well and is so easy going so far!! we are incredibly lucky and are having a blast hanging out as a family at home!!
i will post more pics as soon as i have a chance to get them off of my camera...
