counting down the days & a pooped puppy.

the weekend started off with a VERY pooped puppy. we took her to doggie daycare (laugh all you want, when you have a dog with this much energy, it is a godsend!!) on friday because we were going to be out friday night for a friend's surprise party. brian got off of work a little early so he picked her up & this is what i came home to...

saturday, we spent a lazy morning (well sort of, i have started making scrapbooks on the side & was working on that part of the morning) at home before heading to galveston with some friends. rylea got to go to the restaurant with us (the spot on the seawall) where she was really good & made lots of new friends. then we walked across the street where she had a blast jumping in the waves, chasing her ball, & digging in the sand. it was kind of busy so we didn't stay long but next time we will go down the beach a little ways so she can play longer.
when we got home, she crashed & snuggled with her daddy all night long while mummy worked on the scrapbooks.

sunday, we had brian's parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins as well as my parents over for a mother's day/brian's birthday (he's 26!!!) lunch/supper. rylea's nanny & vanpa (my parents) brought over my yellow lab, peaches, and my brother's mutt, baley. rylea had fun playing in the backyard with them. unfortunately, i didn't take any pictures but they were stinkin' cute sitting, three in a row, under the shade of the fence. rylea can't wait to have a 4-legged sibling of her own!!! :)
