hooky.

friday, i played hooky from school and brian only had to work a few hours to get his 40 for the week. after evan’s nap, we headed up to the new handicap accessible park in league city. i thought that it might be fairly toddler friendly and i was right. e had a blast playing but especially loved the swings. we kept telling him that if he just wanted to swing, we could’ve stayed home but oh well! while we were there, there was a fairies & firetrucks birthday party going on and the firemen in league city brought out 2 of the trucks. all of the kids in the park went over and they handed out hats and let the kids play on the trucks. evan loved it and made one of the firemen clear off the passenger seat so he could sit down. about the time he got comfortable, they got a call so i grabbed him and we watched the fire truck take off – so exciting!
