9 months old.

evan turned 9 months old yesterday!!!!!!  we were asked what our favourite stage has been so far and we could honestly say now.  he is learning so much each day but is still not completely mobile so we are able to contain him for the time being :) 

what e is up to at 9 months:

• eating 3 solid meals a day {we have moved mostly to 3rds but he is still getting 2nds dessert since they don’t make dessert in 3rds :)}
  • a breastmilk bottle in the morning {8ish oz}
  • a jar of fruit around 9ish
  • a jar of meat or lasagna or spaghetti, etc for lunch with a jar of veggies if he is still hungry
  • a jar of fruit for snack around 230 or 3ish
  • a jar of veggies for dinner with a tub of fruity dessert
  • an 8 oz formula bottle before bed
  • he is still drinking apple juice/water out of a sippy cup throughout the day
  • he’ll also usually drink 1-2 8 oz bottles of formula during the day
  • he’s still loving the yogurt melts and puffs and we have added teething biscuits to the mix
  • he will also try just about anything off of our plate.  we are encouraging this although the poor kid still has no teeth so he gums everything :)
• is able to hold his own bottle & sippy cup.  you do have to help him tilt it if he’s not laying down but he can put the nipple/spout in his mouth!! what a big boy!!!
• still saying dadadada and every so often will add in random combinations of dada and baba…still no mama
• has started pulling himself up on the bouncer, ottoman, and pretty much anything that he can.  we’re in trouble soon!!
• is still sleeping very well
• loves to snuggle and will lay against you for forever!!
• gives the best hugs!  he has been doing this for awhile but i just love them so much!
• still a size 4 diaper & 18-24 month clothes
• still not a crawler altho he is most definitely a butt scooter. he just isn’t that interested in crawling…way more interested in standing!
• STILL NO TEETH!! frustrating only because the kid wants to eat what we do but there’s only so much gumming you can do to break down big people food!!
• has started waking up and just “talking” to himself.  i love him waking up that way versus crying
