8 months old.

the little e turned 8 months old on february 8!  this momma still can’t believe he’s getting so big!!

what the little guy is up to these days:

• eating 3 solid meals a day {all 2nd stage foods still}

  • a breastmilk bottle {usually 7-8 ounces} when he wakes up

  • a tub of fruit with some rice cereal around 9ish

  • a jar of meat with a tub of veggies and some rice cereal at lunch

  • a tub of fruit around 3ish

  • a tub of veggies and a tub of fruit or a dessert at 7ish

  • a formula bottle just before bed

  • he drinks on a sippy cup of apple juice and water throughout the day

  • he has one or two 8 ounce bottles of formula whenever he wants them during the day

  • he will eat his yogurt melts and puffs with just about every meal and is really “chewing” on them now

  • he has been trying some big people food here and there.  so far, he has tried marinara, bread, and french fries – very random i know but it’s what i had :)

• still saying dadadada all the time and seems to be adding bababa sometimes when he is waving

• still a bouncing fool.  he even got his grandparents to buy him another bouncer in mississippi this last weekend because we left his at home and he “needed it” :)
• is a traveling pro!  he has done so well on all of our trips so far
• loves watching people.  he will just sit and stare for hours!
• is still wearing a size 4 diaper
• is wearing at least 18 month old clothing.  we’re definitely running low on clothes these days since he blew threw the other sizes.  guess mummy will have to go shopping :)
• hasn’t really progressed that much on crawling or standing – just really close on both!
• has started pulling himself up and climbing on us.  it’s really cute!  definitely feels like we’re a human jungle gym!
• has truly started teething lately which means slightly disrupted sleep.  our little man is still a happy baby but will have random episodes of bursting into tears.  you can tell he’s in pain and it breaks our hearts
• is a huge snuggler!! he will wrap his arms around you and hug you while laying his head down on your shoulder!! too sweet!!!
• is discovering new noises every day and will repeat them over and over again – even if they are obnoxious!

we have a very sweet, but spoiled little boy on our hands!!! love him!!
