evan turned 6 months old at the beginning of december but between christmas, rsv, and everything else going on, i never got around to posting his updates :) at his 6 month appt {which had to be delayed due to his rsv}, evan weighed 22 lbs and was 28 inches long…an average 10 month old according to his doctor – awesome!!
what he’s doing at 6 months:
- eating 3 solid meals a day plus his bottles.
- just started sitting up on his own over thanksgiving. we worked on it all break and then when he went back to daycare after the break, he was a professional :)
- still so busy with his hands. he will grab anything and shake it, throw it, or make noise with it. he constantly has to have something in his hands.
- has discovered his feet and is constantly moving those as well.
- is still sleeping well.
- still loves his puppies although they are starting to realize he can grab so it’s funny to watch them interact.
- is still not rolling over. i’m not terribly worried about it though. it will happen when it happens.
- is sleeping on his tummy {i know, i know – SIDS, but he is so much happier sleeping this way…}.
- wearing a size 4 diaper.
- is wearing size 12-24 month clothes. crazy kid!!
- developing such a little personality!
- is still enjoying bathtime and now i clean him in his bath seat and then let him sit in the tub and play. this usually results in me getting soaked from sitting in the “splash zone” but he has fun which is all that matters!
- still loves his bouncer and will bounce even when he’s not in it – makes for some toned arms for mummy & daddy!
- he’s still super happy when he gets up in the morning as long as you put the bottle in asap :)
- is still a sweet, sweet baby!! we can’t wait to see what else he learns. we are so amazed by how much he has changed so far!!
we didn’t get around to taking the official 6 month picture either. we have his professional 6 month shots so they will have to do :)
