we luv christmas cards!!

i can’t wait to see what fun cards our friends will send each year and even better than that is seeing the pictures of their families!!  life is crazy and you don’t always get to spend as much time with friends & family as you want but somehow, christmas cards with pictures always makes you feel just a little bit closer… 

we also like to keep all the cards together so that year after year, we can see how our lives and the lives of our friends & family have changed – whether it be a new baby, etc…

update on miss avery.

we had our 34 week appt two days ago and got to see avery for the first time since we found out she was a girl at 18ish weeks. 

not a whole lot but it was so fun seeing her again {and the nurse was able to confirm, once again, that she is a girl :)}  she checked out perfectly and was a normal size – not large.  maybe i won’t have a 9.5lb baby this time but i’m not holding my breath :)

showers for miss avery jo.

wow!!!!  we are so blessed to have such amazing friends & family!  avery is one lucky little girl {and her closet is busting at the seams :)}!!   i had 3 showers for little miss avery – one with all of the technology specialists in the district, one at brook, & one for all of our friends & family.  thank you so much to everyone who helped to throw these showers for our little girl.  we are so lucky to have such caring & sweet people in our lives!!!  now to the pictures…

our little monkey.

apparently his halloween costume was more appropriate than we knew :)  i had borrowed mum’s sewing machine for some recent projects and one day, i turned around to find this:

& this has now progressed into climbing onto the chair at the table…gotta love little boys :)

evan had an absolute blast yesterday!!! we only took him to a few houses but he quickly got the hang of it and wasn’t fazed at all by the scary costumes everyone had on.  at some houses, he thought he needed to take something out of his “mo” bucket in order to get something else…silly boy!!  we had a blast with our little monkey:)

evan also had a blast entertaining cc, aunt ashley, mike, and aunt barbie!!!  thanks for the dinner & fun :)

avery’s room.

last weekend, brian & dad worked on miss avery’s room.  brian had already painted so the job for the day was to hang the crown moulding.  they did an awesome job {even with a little helper bee running around :)}…
