the day we got back from the river, the england family flew in. we had a couple of days before heading to south padre for a week. our little man was in his element. he would race {on all 4’s} for the water the minute we set him down. waves didn’t phase him at all! let’s just say that there wasn’t much relaxing done :) we had a great time and the little guy was pooped!
mid-july, we headed to new braunfels to spend a few days at the river with the crispy side of the family. evan ate it up although he’s still not terribly sure about the frigid comal river :) once he was sitting in his daddy’s lap, he made the float from the baby pool at the other place to the last public exit {which is quite a float!!}.
he also loved having the kiddos from next door to play with. it is so fun that they will all grow up going to the river together!
evan has spent most of his summer swimming – cc’s pool, barbie’s pool, the beach. he loves it all! we also had cookouts with everyone and he LOVED that as well – especially the corn on the cob!
such a water baby!
july 4th weekend, our friends, juliet & troy both had to work so we had jaxon over to spend the night. Evan went to bed before Jaxon got to our house so he was super surprised in the morning when he woke up and he had a friend to play with :)

while i was in austin and san marcos last weekend with laura and ali, my boys apparently had quite the spaghetti dinner :)
