after only staying at the river 3 days last year and facing the upset faces of our little river rats, we bit the bullet and stayed the entire week this year {after only being home from cali for 3 days

another fun trip to california this year but this time, it was for uncle james & liz’s wedding!! we were in newport the week before the wedding and then our little family stayed for a few days after the wedding and played at disneyland

everyone headed home and we headed to disneyland!!
we spent the afternoon at downtown disney before heading back to rest up for our first day back at disney!

california adventure…
the kids had so much fun last year that they begged to come back this year and I’m so glad we did! we experienced so much more of disneyland! the kiddos were bigger and could ride more of the bigger rides. evan surprised us by wanting to ride some of the “scarier” rides we honestly didn’t think he would even consider! avery rode as many as she could but she was still a little too short for a few{although if you ask her, she was “tall enough on my tippy toes”
{WEDNESDAY} we headed home after a really fun vacation!! we are pooped but need to rest up because we are off to the river on sunday
